With the entire Indian Test squad assembling in Perth ahead of the first Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT), the players will begin training at the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) Stadium, with the grill bordering the practice area covered to block India's practice sessions from public view.
The Indian team departed for Australia in two separate batches on Sunday and Monday, and will have a 10-day acclimatization and training period before the BGT begins. However, there remains uncertainty over the availability of captain Rohit Sharma for the first Test because of personal reasons.
