For a while Saturday, it appeared as if TCU was about to fall from the ranks of the unbeaten.
Then, the Horned Frogs came back from the dead against Kansas State.

While the timing may have been off for the mascot’s entrance, TCU already had taken the lead, the Horned Frogs stormed past Kansas State, 38-28, to go to 7-0.
Kansas State had rushed to a 28-10 lead and had to think it was in position to topple TCU.
Not. So. Fast.
Max Duggan threw a TD pass in the final minute of the first half and the comeback was on — big time.
Kendre Miller had a pair of touchdown runs after the break and Duggan threw another TD pass.
Even the doinks went the way of TCU as Kansas State’s kicker knocked one off the upright.
