TCU quarterback Max Duggan announced on social media that he will declare for the 2023 NFL Draft.
Duggan has been pivotal in the Frogs’ offensive success this season, finishing second in Heisman voting. With the Horned Frogs heading to the College Football Playoff, there has been a lot of eyes on Duggan’s game.
Due to COVID-19, the Horned Frog senior QB has one year of eligibility remaining. Duggan, playing the best football of his career, will forgo one final season and head to the NFL Draft.
The Frog QB ranks ninth in the FBS with a 165.48 passing efficiency rating and has led the Horned Frogs to a 12-1 record. His draft stock has never been higher, and Duggan, the Davey O’Brien Award winner, is set to capitalize on the opportunity.
In the statement, Duggan said the Horned Frogs “still have business to take care of.” The Frogs will face the Michigan Wolverines in the Fiesta Bowl with a trip to the National Championship on the line on New Year’s Eve.
