Taylor Swift has thanked fans for their dedication after she performed for almost four hours during a downpour.
The Shake It Off singer, 33, braved the elements as she took to the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Saturday for the latest stop on her Eras Tour.
Taking to social media after the gig, she shared a series of pictures of her looking absolutely drenched while on stage and thanked the audience for being “iconic”.
“Last night we all danced together in the rain for THE ENTIRE 3.5 HOUR SHOW in foxy Foxborough MA!!” she wrote on Twitter.
Adding: “We’ve had rain shows at Gillette Stadium before but this was a full on deluge that never let up, I just want to thank that iconic crowd!! Love you so much, you have no idea.”

Her fans were equally as enthusiastic about the experience when replying to her post.
“As a dad who has listened to your music for 17 years, it was an incredible opportunity to see you for the first time and be part of the rainiest rain show ever!” one wrote person.
“You are an absolutely iconic performer!” penned another, with a third remaking that she is “the only woman in the world who is willing to make this type of sacrifice! to stand in the rain and put on a remarkable show!”
“Taylor Swift, the dynamo that’s very waterproof. No surpassing her dedication, talent, and energy,” commented a fourth.
Swift’s performance that night was poignant for another reason.
Each night of the tour, she has been including a “surprise songs” section where she includes two mystery tracks from her vast back catalogue.
For her first surprise song of the night, Swift performed Question...? from her latest album Midnights, with the second surprise song being Invisible from her debut album.
Opening up about her song choices, she gave an emotional speech which led fans to speculate that it might have been about her rumoured new boyfriend Matty Healy.
Addressing the crowd, Swift said: “I’ve just never been this happy in my life in all aspects of my life.
“It’s not just the tour… I just sort of feel like my life finally feels like it makes sense… so I thought I’d play this song which brings me a lot of happy memories.”
