Taylor Swift has shared a message with her fans this morning to celebrate the release of Speak Now (Taylor's Version), with the highly-awaited album now available.
The singer-songwriter, 33, has been releasing re-recorded versions of some past albums from earlier in her career following the dispute over her back catalogue.
She's already released Fearless (Taylor's Version) and Red (Taylor's Version). Her third album Speak Now has now been re-released with the original tracks and some new ones.
The original album - which was released in 2010 - included songs like Mine, Back to December, Dear John and Mean. The tracklist was re-recorded by Taylor for the new version.
The new version of the album also includes six new tracks "from the vault" that weren't included in the original release, such as Castles Crumbling, Timeless and Foolish One.
She marked the release of Speak Now (Taylor's Version) by sharing a message with fans on Instagram, in which she recalled writing the album and recording it again years later.
Alongside a photo of herself, Taylor - who's world tour the Eras Tours is currently underway - wrote in a post earlier this morning: "It's here. It's yours, it's mine, it's ours."
She continued in the recent post: "It's an album I wrote alone about the whims, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I lived out as a young woman between 18 and 20."
The Grammy Award winner then recalled: "I remember making tracklist after tracklist, obsessing over the right way to tell the story. I had to be ruthless with our choices, and I left behind some songs I am still unfailingly proud of now."
"Therefore, you have 6 From the Vault tracks! I recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up, now) and the memories it brought back filled me with nostalgia and appreciation," she further commented in the post this morning.
Taylor concluded the message by writing to her fans: "For life, for you, for the fact that I get to reclaim my work. Thank you a million times, for the memories that break our fall."
Speak Now (Taylor's Version) comes following the release of her first re-recorded album Fearless (Taylor's Version) in 2021. She released Red (Taylor's Version) later that year.
