Taylor Swift's 'surging' ticket prices for Eras tour leaves fans gutted

Taylor Swift are aghast after finding out the huge cost of last minute tickets to her sold-out tour.

Currently touring America on The Era Tour, Taylor, 33, is performing for hundreds upon thousands of fans every week.

After performing a trio of sold-out shows in Texas at Houston’s NRG Stadium, Taylor is now enjoying some downtime before heading to Atlanta.

Performing another trio of shows for her adoring fans, Taylor will light up the stage at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on April 28, April 29 and April 30.

With ticket prices on the more expensive side to all of Swift's concerts, it's no surprise that last-minute tickets are even more pricey.

At the time of publishing, on April 26, the cheapest ticket on Vivid Seats for her third night in Atlanta is far from affordable.

For a seat on the Mezzanine Level the ticket is priced at $868 (£694.45), while an Upper Bowl ticket will cost you in the region of $1,151 (£920.86).

A seat on the Lover Level currently costs $1,492 (£1,193.68) and a Field ticket - which is more commonly known as Floor - is coming in at $1,672 (£1,337.69), for the cheapest available.

Other Field tickets are reaching new heights with some being priced at more than $2,000 (£1,600), with other Field seats being sold for even more cash.

The most expensive seat is a Lower Level seat though, which comes in a staggering $8,918 (£7,134.89).

According The New York Post, ticket prices for the Taylor Swift The Eras Tour started at $455 before fees.

This comes after we reported that one Swiftie was completely convinced that they spotted a Hollywood actor on-stage at The Eras Tour earlier this month.

Back on April 6 at Taylor's show in Arlington, a fan livestreamed the gig online, which sparked a hilarious comment from one fan.

The comment came during Taylor's Midnight set, which sees her croon the best-loved tracks from her latest album.

"What is Timothée Chalamet doing?" asked one confused fan on the livestream, which made its way onto TikTok and then Twitter.
