Taylor Swift ’s ex Joe Alwyn will reportedly rake in a fortune for years to come thanks to the songs he co-wrote with the star.
Joe, 32, is understood to have used the pseudonym William Bowery to help Taylor, 33, pen her songs Betty and Exile on her album Folklore in 2020.
Last year he co-wrote Sweet Nothing on her latest album Midnights, and he contributed to Champagne Problems and Coney Island from Evermore.
Taylor split from her long-time beau earlier this year after it was reported that the actor "struggled with Taylor's level of fame and the attention from the public", which is why they parted ways.
A source told The Sun : “Joe will be raking in a fortune from these songs for years.
“Taylor's albums sold millions and continue to be huge on streaming services.
“He will easily be making a five-figure sum every year from his contributions. Writing six songs for albums as big as Taylor's guarantees a healthy income stream for life.”
It comes after Taylor was pictured for the first time looking seemingly cosy with rumoured new love interest Matt Healy.
The American singer, 33, and frontman of The 1975, Matty, 34, were seen sitting next to one another in a car with tinted windows.
Arriving at Taylor's condo at 12:30am following her Nashville gig on Saturday evening (May 6), the couple could be seen sat in the back of a chauffeured vehicle, according to reports.
In photos that have been snapped, the British rocker could be seen wearing a bracelet, which appeared to be the same one he donned that same evening while at Taylor's second Nashville, Tennessee performance of her sold-out The Eras Tour.
The photos of the young musicians enjoying each other's company while riding in a car come after the Daily Mail obtained them.
Swifties have been taking to Twitter to share their opinions on the snaps already, with some certain it's the rocker sitting next to the songstress, and others not so certain.
"Taylor and a random shadow," penned one person.
Matty has been spotted attending Taylor's tour for two nights in a row, with him standing in the VIP area with the likes of Gigi Hadid and Abigail Lauren - two of Taylor's closest and most trusted pals.
Recently it has been widely reported that the pair are "madly in love", with past reports saying that they would step out together in Nashville - which has proved to be true.
Just last night he was seen performing on-stage during Taylor's tour, with the rocker playing guitar for support act Phoebe Bridgers.
With him also spotted the night before standing in the VIP area and bobbing his head to Taylor's hits.
