Pre-sale tickets for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour performance at Cardiff's Principality Stadium went on-sale this afternoon - and thousands of fans have taken to social media to share their delight at scoring tickets ahead of general sale next week. Ticket prices were not previously announced so it was only when logging in to the special pre-sale page of the official ticket selling websites Ticketmaster and AXS that fans were able to see the price list for the concert.
In Cardiff, prices range from £195 for the 'We Never Go Out of Style Package' to £182.50 for PL [Price Level] 1 seated tickets, £171.25 for 'Front Standing' tickets, £143.15 for PL [Price Level] 2 seated tickets, £109.40 for General Admission Standing tickets and PL [Price Level] 3 seated tickets, and £86.90 for PL [Price Level] 4 tickets. The Principality Stadium is also advertising for "Hospitality Packages" for £445 each, you can read more about this in a previous article here.
After choosing which price level and how many tickets they wanted to buy, fans were allocated tickets from those available and could 'confirm' - or 'release' their tickets and try-again, for example for cheaper tickets or tickets in another area.

Fans lucky enough to secure their tickets had to pay in-full online and were then sent a confirmation email from their ticket seller with their order number and a break down of their bill. This price breakdown confirms how much fans have splashed out for the Taylor Swift tickets themselves - and how much they've had to fork out on hidden fees and charges.
One fan purchased four tickets at Price Level 3 and was billed £440.45 in total. On their confirmation email, they could see that the tickets themselves cost just £95 each - meaning they were charged more than £60 in fees.
The fan's full cost breakdown reads:
Tickets: £380.00
Facility Fee: £10.00
Transaction Fee: £2.85
Service Fee: £47.60
Total: £440.45
If you didn't manage to get presale tickets today, you can try again in the general sale on Wednesday, July 19 at 3pm. Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster and AXS. Swift's concert in the Welsh capital is taking place on June 18, 2024.
