Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert film, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version), has been making waves since its streaming debut on Disney+. The film has quickly become the most-watched music film on the platform of all time, with 4.6 million views in just three days after its release. Fans of the Grammy winner watched a total of 16.2 million hours of the three-and-a-half-hour film over the past weekend.
The concert film includes performances of additional acoustic songs that were not included in the original release, such as 'Death by a Thousand Cuts,' 'I Can See You,' 'Maroon,' and 'You Are in Love.' Swift also added back performances of “The Archer,” “Long Live,” and 'Wildest Dreams' for the on-demand version released in December.
The success of The Eras Tour on Disney+ adds to the records Swift has broken with the film. It sold the most tickets in the first day of sales at AMC Theatres, had the highest-grossing opening of a concert film in history, and became one of the highest-earning concert films of all time, second only to Michael Jackson's This Is It.
Swift expressed her gratitude for the film's success on Instagram, acknowledging the fans' enthusiastic response to the concert film. The Eras Tour was filmed during Swift's shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in August 2023.
