Amidst swirling rumours that Taylor Swift might be portraying 'Lady Deadpool', the pop superstar has joined the hype wagon and lent her support to the film 'Deadpool and Wolverine'.
Ahead of its grand premiere, Swift took to Instagram Stories to wish the team the best and to also share a few heartfelt words of love and admiration for the film's leading men - Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
Sharing a photo from her personal camera reel, that saw her posing with Jackman, Reynolds, BFF Blake Lively, and 'Deadpool 3' director Shawn Levy, she penned a lengthy caption.
Putting her fun side on display, she penned a cheeky note that read, "Over the past few years, I have watched one of my best friends on this planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film. He's created the best work of his life, and this film feels like an actual joy portal, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich. I don't know how he did it. But that's just Hugh for you!"
In a rather playful note, Swift also teased her long-time friends Ryan and Blake saying, "These other randoms crashed the photo and we were too polite to ask them to leave."
The pop superstar encouraged her followers to buy tickets to 'Deadpool and Wolverine' ahead of its release on Friday, July 26 and added, "Shout out to Wade Wilson, aka my godkids' sperm donor."
Swift has been friends with Blake and Ryan for several years, and is the Godmother to the power couple's children. She is also known to baby-sit the bunch when the couple is out on work commitments.
Over the past months, she has been seen joining the couple on their dinner dates with Jackman and Levy. Taylor even extended an invite to the four to join her in the VIP box to catch her beau Travis Kelce's NFL matches.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Reynolds and Jackman discussed their experiences hanging out with Swift. While Reynolds declared that Taylor is "a fun person to have a beer with," Jackman humorously acknowledged his lack of fame compared to the singer. "If you ever really want to kinda not feel great about your career, go to [an NFL] game with Taylor Swift and Blake Lively—and then you're 'Blake Lively, Taylor Swift, and others' at the game," Jackman joked to PEOPLE.
