Taylor Swift fans hoping to get tickets to her UK leg of the Eras tour are anxiously awaiting an email from Ticketmaster today.
Swifties rushed to register to be in with a chance of getting their hands on tickets after the star made a long-awaited announcement confirming UK tour dates last month - and today is the day they find out if they were successful.
The Eras Tour - which sees the singer take her fans through every single one of her 10 studio albums with an epic three-hour set - will be stopping off at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium, Edinburgh's BT Murrayfield Stadium, London's Wembley Arena and the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, next summer.

General sale tickets will go on sale from July 18 to July 20 but only those with a personal access code will be able to purchase them. Fans were advised by Ticketmaster that they needed to register by June 22 to be in with a chance of getting their hands on one - but not everyone will be successful.
Today (July 5), Ticketmaster will be sending out emails to those who registered to let them know whether they have secured a code or if they have been placed on the waiting list - and the suspense has left Taylor fans in a tizz.
Swifties took to Twitter to vent as they anxiously awaited the vital information from the ticket seller. "Can ticketmaster hurry up and send out these taylor swift ticket emails, waiting this long isn’t helping anyone," fumed @MillieNicolee.
@sarahmufc93 said: "UK Taylor Swift fans assuming we are all still waiting on Ticketmaster? Haven’t seen one person say they’ve got an email yet."
The wait has left fans feeling 'stressed' and 'sick', with many admitting they were struggling to focus on anything else. "Just had to explain to an entire meeting that I wasn't paying attention cause I had an email and it might have been @TicketmasterUK. I need this Taylor Swift code," @ElderSarge said.
@totallyelijah said: "I fear i’m not going to known peace until i get this taylor swift email", while @kyototopia wrote: "SEND THE EMAIL TAYLOR SWIFT I FEEL SICK", while @gemyus commented: "Wondering if I have a better chance of seeing unicorn kitten riding a unicorn than seeing a Taylor Swift, you have been selected email…..eekk."
Nervous fans who do get a code are not even guaranteed a spot at the show and will still have to battle for tickets when they go on sale. "I feel so stressed waiting for this Taylor Swift email. I’m dreading the breakdown I will have during the actual sales!" @Mousii_G admitted.
Those who are lucky enough to get selected will get their unique code in a separate email the day before the ticket sale. The email will include timing details and a link to where the on-sale will occur, as well as the unique, non-transferable access code.
While Taylor fans have been left frustrated by the drawn-out process for getting tickets, Ticketmaster has said the rules are in place to "filter out buyers looking to resell tickets."
A spokesperson for the site said: "Ticket Sale Registration is being used to filter out buyers looking to resell tickets and prioritise genuine fans like you, ensuring that tickets go directly into the hands of those who truly want to attend the show.
"It’s also important to note that Ticket Sale Registration does not guarantee access to the sale, or to tickets.
"We expect there will be more demand than there are tickets available, meaning only a limited number of fans will gain access to the sale. The system will then work on a first-come, first-served basis."
The singer kicked off her record-breaking tour back in March, impressing fans with a staggering 44-strong setlist lasting over three hours. It is Taylor's sixth headlining concert and has been described by the singer-songwriter as a journey through all of her "musical eras".
The tour is a tribute to all of Swift's studio albums to date, including her latest, 'Midnights', and those that did not have a tour due to the pandemic, including Lover, Folklore and Evermore.
The Eras Tour is currently stopping off in locations across North America, before heading to Mexico, Argentina and Brazil in late 2023. New tour dates have also been announced in South America - where Sabrina Carpenter will open for her.
Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, July 18, for London, Wednesday, July 19, for Edinburgh, and Thursday, July 20, at 2pm for Liverpool and Cardiff.
