Taylor Swift is reportedly dating Brit rocker Matty Healy and it's said the newfound romance was set up by her longtime pal Jack Antonoff.
As news broke on Wednesday about the potential new pairing, fans of TayTay were in shock - and even more so when they discovered Jack's involvement.
American singer Jack is said to have played matchmaker, according to Instagram influencer DeuxMoi.
In her latest podcast, she said: "I have another bomb to drop and I'm just going to give you guys a trigger warning."
Explaining the rumour she had heard, she told her two million followers she wanted to relay it with them. "I heard this information a couple of weeks ago," she said.
Playing a clip of her claim last month, she then continued: "So that was my initial reaction to hearing that something was going on between Taylor and Matt. Well, cut to last weekend and this person said I was allowed to tell you guys they are a celebrity in their own right.
"So this comes from another celebrity who messaged me, 'I had to tell you that Tay Swift is already dating the lead singer of The 1975. Antonoff set it up."
Despite the comments on the post being limited, many shared their concern at the potential link up.
One user wrote: "Isn’t he v problematic am I making that up?"
Another added: "Taylor is back with her awful taste in men."
However, some fans clapped back and said in fact it was Matt that could do better. One user said: "Matty is so much better than her! if this is true i’m gonna be heart broken. Taylor represents everything the 1975 stands against."
Matty had previously welcomed Taylor onto the stage at one of his gigs earlier in the year as she performed her song Anti‐Hero live for the first time.
It's said Taylor and the son of Loose Women presenter Denise Welch are set to make a public appearance together this weekend when TayTay performs in Nashville, Tennessee.
The alleged new pairing comes a matter of weeks after the US singer split from The Favourite actor and it's said the pair are already "madly in love".
A source told The Sun: "Taylor just wants to live her life, and be happy. She’s told pals Matty is flying to Nashville over the weekend to support her on the next leg of her tour."
