A Taylor Swift fan has shared a genius hack to check exactly where you are in the Ticketmaster queue while trying to buy tickets.
Thousands of Swifties will be taking to Ticketmaster to snap up tickets for the American singer's Dublin gigs next week. With demand for tickets at an all-time high, Ticketmaster is inviting fans to buy tickets for the general sale via registration only.
Fans who bought the Midnights album last year will be able to buy tickets for the Aviva Stadium show from Tuesday, July 11. Many US fans have been sharing their successes to help out their fellow global fans.
One fan, Sonia, shared on her TikTok page how she managed to grab a ticket by being patient. She told fans they can check where they are in the online queues, even if the Ticketmaster queue says "2,000+" people.
She said: "You're going to right click on your computer and click inspect and then it's going to pop up this side tab. Then you're gonna go to 'network' and then search the word 'status' and you have to click on 'preview', 'ticket', and it says my number and my expected wait time."
Sonia explained that this trick will only work for those buying tickets on their PCs. Many fans praised Sonia's 'incredible' trick in the comments via her TikTok video which has received thousands of likes so far.
One fan said: "So cool, thank you." Another said: "That's incredible."
One user asked what would happen if they changed the queue number to 1 in the side tab and Sonia advised "not to mess with it".
All registrants will receive an email on Wednesday 5 July letting them know if they were selected for the onsale or placed on the waitlist. Anyone who was selected will receive a purchase link and access code via SMS on Wednesday, July 12, which is the day before tickets go onsale.
Tickets will go on sale on Thursday, July 13 at 10am for the Dublin shows. While, pre-sale will begin on Tuesday, July 11 at 10am for the Dublin shows.
