Ticketmaster has issued important advice to Taylor Swift fans after thousands were left unable to get tickets for the star's Eras Tour. The ticket platform, which is one of two along with AXS through which fans can get a spot at a show, experienced problems this morning when the first wave of presale tickets went on sale at 11am.
Fans who pre-ordered her Midnights album were able to log on to either Ticketmaster or AXS with an emailed code to get tickets for the star's June 21 date at Wembley, London and June 7 date at BT Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh. But thousands experienced technical issues and glitches.
One fan took to Twitter and said: "That was great @TicketmasterUK, got in to buy #TaylorSwift tickets for my daughter, a massive massive fan, and just as I got in, you kicked me out with an error."
Now Ticketmaster has issued advice for those who will try again at 1pm and 3pm. In a tweet, Ticketmaster said: "If you're trying to access a presale please only use one device at a time.
"Close down all browsers/tabs, clear cookies and ensure you are following the correct presale link sent via email." At 1pm, two more shows will go live, Wembley's August 15 date and BT Murrayfield's June 8 date.
