Taylor Swift has announced a string of US shows as part of her new tour, The Eras. The pop star has revealed a string of dates in the US taking place in March 2023.

The official website states that international dates will be confirmed soon for Taylor Swift The Eras Tour. Kicking off in Glendale, Arizona on March 18, Taylor will be performing at stadiums across the US which include Las Vegas, Atlanta, Houston and more.

No dates, prices or tour venues have yet been released for the UK but more information is expected to come soon. It's worth checking Ticketmaster regularly too for confirmation.

Support will come from special guests Paramore, Gayle, Gracie Abrams, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, Owenn, Muna and HAIM.

The announcement comes after her worldwide success with her new Midnights album. Taylor has secured a Billboard first, currently occupying every spot in the Top 10 in the Hot 100 chart for songs.

Speaking of the success, Taylor tweeted: "10 out of 10 of the Hot 100??? On my 10th album??? I AM IN SHAMBLES."

In October Swift officially confirmed that a new UK tour is on the cards and fans could get early access if they pre-ordered her new Midnights album. The songstress broke the news on Sunday evening (October 17) and loyal Swifties had been booting up her website ever since, causing it to crash due to demand at several intervals.

The All Too Well artist last toured in the UK in 2018 with her Reputation tour and later cancelled her sixth tour, Lover Fest, which was to begin in April 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Ever since the singer announced her latest album 'Midnights' fans have been following her movements closely, and waiting for a tour announcement.

When did Taylor Swift last tour in the UK?

Taylor's last UK tour came in the form of the Reputation World Tour in 2018, her most successful to date. It was the fifth concert tour by the American singer-songwriter in support of her sixth studio album, Reputation.

Beginning in May 2018, the all-stadium tour consisted of a total of 53 shows and received around 2.88 million attendees and grossed around $345.7 million in revenue. It broke many records which included the third highest-grossing female concert tour of all time. The All Too Well singer performed in the likes of Manchester, Dublin and London for the tour.

She was supported by Camila Cabello and Charli XCX during her shows at Manchester's Etihad Stadium and at Wembley in London.

Her Lover Fest tour was postponed and then later cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This originally consisted of 10 shows in Europe, two in South America, and five in North America.

What UK festivals has Taylor Swift performed at?

Taylor Swift has performed at many UK festivals over her 18 year career. Her last festival appearance in the UK was at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in 2018 which was held at Swansea in Wales.

Before that she performed at the British Summer Time festival in London in June 2015 so a festival appearance is long overdue. The pop star has had slots at the former V Festival in the UK.

Taylor Swift's latest albums

Taylor Swift has announced her tenth studio album 'Midnights' which is available to order here. The 13-track album is described by the pop star as 'the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life.'

She wrote: “This collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams.”

She added: “The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching – hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve, we’ll meet ourselves.”

It comes after the artist said she was rerecording her first six albums because the master rights were sold without her consent by her former record label.

Swift released two studio albums during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, her eighth Folklore and her ninth Evermore. Folklore was the best-selling album in the United States in 2020. She also released Fearless (Taylor's Version) in 2021, a re-recording of Fearless (2009) and Red (Taylor's Version) in 2021, a re-recording of Red (2012). Her Taylor Version's have come following a dispute with Big Machine over the rights to masters of her six studio albums.

You can listen to Folklore and Evermore, as well as her re-releases via Apple Music, Spotify or Amazon Music. Amazon currently have an offer for three months free for new customers to Amazon Music, which is £9.99 a month. Find out more here.
