Following his release from the Titans last week, three-time Pro Bowler Taylor Lewan came home to a sad-looking surprise on Monday.
The offensive tackle, who spent his entire career in Tennessee, posted a photo on Twitter of what appeared to be his front door. Outside the home were several garbage bags filled with shoes and clothes, with football pads even sitting on top of one bag.
“Shout out to the Titans dropping my stuff off today,” he said on Twitter. “They even let me keep the shoulder pads.”
Lewan was drafted by the Titans in the first round of the 2014 draft. Over nine seasons, he started in 100 games and earned three consecutive Pro Bowl nods between ’16 to ’18. In 2022, the 31-year-old appeared in just two games before a season-ending ACL tear in Week 2.
