A taxi driver nearly crashed into a police car as he reversed up a motorway slip road.
On Tuesday at around 1.45am, officers from the road policing unit for Merseyside Police posted on Twitter about the incident. Police said officers were on their way to an emergency and were about to join the M57 via the slip road at junction 2 when they came across the taxi.
Officers said they almost crashed into the vehicle as it was reversing up the slip road because the driver had taken a "wrong turn". Police said the incident was "unbelievable" and the "driver was well and truly and reported".
