As one of Gen Z’s leading pop stars, Tate McRae has won over legions of fans for her catchy heartbreak anthems and tightly choreographed performances.
The 21-year-old - who rose to prominence as a finalist on US competition show So You Think You Can Dance at age 13 - has scored six top 20 hits in the UK since 2020, including You Broke Me First and 10:35 with Tiësto.
Fans of the singer will be thrilled to find out has announced that her upcoming third album, So Close To What, will be released on February 21, accompanied by a world tour - which includes dates in the UK.
Described as “an introspective exploration of self-discovery, love and searching for balance in moments of uncertainty”, the album is a follow-up to her 2022 debut I Used To Think I Could Fly and 2023 sophomore effort Think Later, both of which reached the top 10 on the UK charts.
Announcing the tour on Instagram, McRae called it “another dream come true”. While Swedish singer Zara Larsson is set to open for McRae’s dates in the US and Canada, New Zealand singer Benee will support European dates.

The Miss Possesive Tour kicks off in Mexico in March before taking the singer through Latin America and eventually into Europe through late Spring and early Summer. For those more eager to see the singer’s show, tickets for selected UK dates will be available earlier via an Amex presale, which will begin on Tuesday, November 19. Selected markets will also have the option to buy presale tickets by preordering McRae’s upcoming album on Wednesday, November 20 via her website.
