A court in Bucharest, Romania has ruled that the criminal case against self-proclaimed 'misogynist' online influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan can proceed to trial. The charges include human trafficking and rape. The court has not set a specific trial date yet, and the Tate brothers have already appealed the ruling.

The arrests of the Tate brothers and two Romanian citizens took place in December 2022, with formal indictments in June 2023 on charges of human trafficking, rape, and setting up a criminal gang to sexually exploit women. The accused deny these allegations.
