Tata Motors has ramped up excitement around its upcoming Sierra EV, scheduled to make its India debut on June 30. In its latest teaser, the automaker showcases the electric SUV taking on massive sand dunes, hinting at its off-road capabilities. The footage appears to feature Abu Dhabi’s famous Tel Moreeb dune, which rises over 300 metres with a steep incline of around 50 degrees and is considered one of the tallest sand dunes in the world.
Design cues revealed in new teaser
The latest visuals also offer a closer look at the production-spec Sierra EV. While its overall silhouette remains faithful to the ICE version, the electric variant introduces several EV-specific design changes.
At the front, the traditional grille has been replaced by a body-coloured closed panel stretching across the fascia. A connected LED DRL strip sits above the main headlamp units, while vertically stacked LED fog lamps are also visible.
