Tata Motors reported a strong start to FY27 in its passenger vehicle business, with total sales rising 46% year-on-year in the June quarter, driven by robust demand for its new launches and continued strength in electric vehicles.
The company sold 1,82,574 passenger vehicles across domestic and international markets during the April-June quarter, compared with 1,24,809 units in the year-ago period. Domestic passenger vehicle sales rose 45% to 1,80,166 units, while international business volumes climbed 148% to 2,408 units.
