Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles (TMCV) is expected to report strong year-on-year (YoY) growth in revenue and profitability in the September quarter, supported by a robust increase in domestic commercial vehicle volumes, according to top brokerages. However, rising input costs and pressure on operating margins are likely to remain key concerns for investors.
The company recorded a volume growth of around 43% YoY in Q2FY27, outperforming peers despite geopolitical headwinds. Brokerage estimates suggest that the strong volume expansion is likely to drive revenue growth of around 44-45% YoY, although the extent to which this translates into operating profit growth will depend on input cost inflation, pricing actions and the product mix.
