The latest series of the BAFTA-winning show Taskmaster is due to start soon, with a new group of celebrities set to bow down to the whims of the Taskmaster himself, Greg Davies, assisted by sidekick Alex Horne.
The last series saw Alan Davies, Desiree Burch, Guz Khan, Morgana Robinson and Victoria Coren Mitchell take part. Impressionist Morgana Robinson was eventually named champion and awarded the prestigious prize of lifting Greg's golden head trophy.
This season's celebrities will face the usual assortment of weird and wonderful tasks. Audiences can expect both creative solutions and unmitigated disasters.

Horne first created the comedy panel game as a live show for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The format was subsequently sold to TV channel Dave in 2015 and found a new home on Channel 4 after series nine back in 2019.
Who is in Taskmaster series 13?
As usual, the show's panel will be made up of an assortment of famous faces from all over the world of comedy and TV. For example, Ardal O'Hanlon will be recognisable to many fans for his iconic role of Father Dougal McGuire in the legendary Channel 4 comedy Father Ted and his work as a stand-up and author.
Another comedian, Chris Ramsey, will be recognisable to many from his own comedy show and for taking part in the BBC series Strictly Come Dancing's 17th series. The complete list of celebrities taking part in the next series of Taskmaster are:

When is the Taskmaster series 13 start date?
The new series of Taskmaster will start this Thursday (April 14) at 9 pm on Channel 4 and All 4, with an episode entitled "The Noise That Blue Makes." Series 13 will be made up of 10 episodes, which will air weekly in the same time slot.
