Disgraced former North Melbourne utility Tarryn Thomas has been cleared to play at state league level in 2025, but may not sign for an AFL-affiliated club.

Thomas, 24, is also not eligible for the 2025 mid-season draft while no decision has been made on whether he can return to the AFL next year.
