Target's Pokémon 30th-anniversary event has ended with collector reports and photographs confirming that a special Mewtwo promo card was handed out at some US stores, even though Target never publicly named the card or billed it as a nationwide free giveaway in its official listing.
The retailer's 27 September celebration promised Pokémon-themed activities, giveaways and a chance for fans to create their own Pokémon TCG card at participating US stores.
