Pink told fans she didn't know how she felt about being pelted by the ashes of her fan's mum when she was on stage recently.
While belting out Just Like a Pill, the singer, 43, clocked the plastic bag, which had been launched at the star from the crowd.
Bending down in bemusement before picking it up, Pink paused before asking: "Wait, this is your mom? I don't know how I feel about this."
The peculiar package was a "first" for the star, but this isn't the strangest thing being thrown at a celebrity as we're about to find out...
Tampons
One Direction enjoyed stratospheric fame when they left the X-Factor in 2010.
Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson had an army of fans around the world - mostly teenage girls.
As the energy at their gigs mounted, the boys often found themselves surrounded by tampons on stage as their delighted Directioners screamed with excitement.
But Harry is no stranger to having stuff flung at him...
Kiwis
The Watermelon Sugar star once found himself dodging flying kiwis while mid-song.
Harry's fans took to throwing the fruit during his gigs because they loved his track...Kiwi.
However, after nearly taking a tumble, the singer told the crowd: "You may have seen me fall earlier during this song. It appeared to be a kiwi.
“That was the culprit, some green seedy mush. Look there's another – this could end up being a problem.”
Sex toys
American Idol star Adam Lambert has amassed a legion of male and female fans since placing runner up in the US talent show.
The 'Glamberts' are so enamoured with the star, they like to throw sex toys while he's on stage - with various shades of Gray.
"Somebody threw on stage a red-leather tasseled whip and then the next night, I got one that was made out of, like, purple fur. It's getting really S&M," Adam told E Online.
He continued: "I got some glow-in-the-dark handcuffs. It's really getting creative. It's exciting. I think they really want me to play with these toys during the number."
Tomatoes
Back to food, and rapper Lupe Fiasco stormed off stage after an audience member threw a tomato at him.
The Kick Push star, who was once Kanye West's protegee, was performing tracks from his album Tetsuo Youth when a member of the crowd hurled the vegetable at him.
A fuming Fiasco wasn't impressed, and immediately stopped the show, saying: "I’m gonna finish the show, but if there’s more people like that I need them the f**k out of here."
Coins
Lupe's former mentor Kanye was equally displeased when someone started chucking money at him.
The artist now known as Ye stopped his show in Dublin in 2012 when a fan threw a coin at him.
"Don't throw no hard s**t up here while I'm performing," the father-of-four fumed before adding: "Seriously. You f****d it up for everybody. I was having a perfect show, flawless victory."
