Tammy Hembrow’s new boyfriend Grayson Te Moana has hit back at a bunch of claims made by people close to his ex-girlfriend just days after the new couple made their red carpet debut.
ICYMI, Tammy stepped out with Grayson, a model and actor, at the Sydney premiere of Wuthering Heights at the State Theatre last Thursday.
In the wake of the pair’s hard-launch, it was reported that Grayson had only recently ended a relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Jemma Hammett.
Jemma’s sister, Amelia Hammett, later reacted to Tammy and Grayson’s outing in a statement provided to the Daily Telegraph.
“I only care about my baby sister in this whole ordeal (as most people would),” the sister said.
“Personally I think that for this to be so publicised is embarrassing. How did he not see this unravelling the way it has? It’s exactly what he has so badly wanted but in the absolute wrong way,” she added.
Speculation around the new couple only intensified when a close friend of Jemma’s, Charlotte Knight, reportedly took to social media to reveal the alleged timeline of the breakup.
“Imagine you… kick him out after he’s lived with you for the last eight months… Just two days later you are scrolling TikTok and you see him now being hard-launched on the red carpet,” Charlotte wrote, per the Daily Telegraph.
Responding to the allegations, Grayson denied ever having been in a recent relationship.
“Just to clear things up, the narrative being shared about me online isn’t accurate. I haven’t been in a relationship of any kind for over three years,” Grayson told the Daily Mail.
“The claims circulating are simply false.”
Another sister of Jemma’s, Brooke Hammett, claimed to PEDESTRIAN.TV that Grayson’s alleged denial of their relationship is “super upsetting”.
“[Jemma] is heartbroken and put everything in to them. They spent every day together. Grayson met our parents and this is what my little sister gets — his response was he’d never been in a relationship for three years” Brooke claimed.
“This isn’t about Tammy, it’s about him and his actions.”
Before stepping out with Grayson last week, Tammy had a much-publicised romance with AFL player Bailey Smith, and was married to Love Island star Matt Zukowski for seven months before they split in mid-2025.
