As the summer transfer window approaches eyes will be turning to Arsenal and their pursuit of a new striker. Alexandre Lacazette is reported to be leaving the Emirates with his contract up at the end of June which would leave just Eddie Nketiah as a striking option at the North London club.
Recent weeks have seen Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus linked with the Gunners, with football.london's Chris Wheatley reporting that the Manchester City striker is on a shortlist along with Roma's Tammy Abraham.
However, the Brazilian's four goals against Watford at the weekend could make it harder to secure a transfer meaning that attentions could turn to Roma's Abraham. The former Chelsea striker has scored an impressive 15 goals in 33 Serie A starts since his move to the Italian capital last summer and was subject to enquiries from Arsenal in January.

Other names in the mix for the number nine role at the Gunners include Alexander Isak, Jonathan David and Dominic Calvert Lewin, but with all three demonstrating patchy form this season it could well be 24-year-old Abraham who becomes the club's number one target.
football.london understands that Abraham will have an €80 million (£67.4 million) price tag after becoming a popular member of Jose Mourinho's side. He scored a recent brace against arch rivals Lazio on the way to becoming the first English player in 30 years to score more than 10 goals in a Serie A campaign.
Speaking recently to Talksport, the England striker revealed himself to be flattered at the transfer speculation over his future. He explained: “When I see reports linking me with other clubs it makes me feel good, it makes you feel like you’re doing something right. It’s a nice feeling seeing your name all over newspapers.
“But for me it’s about focusing on doing my business here. I can keep getting linked with many clubs but who knows what the future holds? Of course I grew up in England, I’m a London boy. So maybe one day I’ll be back in the Premier League to make noise there.
“But for me right now it’s about focusing on Rome, on doing the best I can and hopefully winning these guys a trophy which they haven’t done in many years.”
