Days after its first portfolio allocation, the Tamil Nadu government inducted 23 more newly elected MLAs into the State Cabinet on Thursday, after Governor Arlekar approved the appointments ahead of the swearing-in ceremony that took place at Lok Bhavan in Chennai.
The expansion marked the second major addition to the newly formed Vijay-led TVK government and return of the Congress to the southern state's governance after nearly six decades.
