Tamil Nadu unveils portfolio allocation; Vijay retains key administrative, police departments

The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday announced the allocation of portfolios among ministers, with key departments divided across senior and newly designated ministers, according to a statement issued by the Lok Bhavan.

According to the statement, Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay will oversee an extensive set of portfolios including Public, General Administration, Home, Police, Special Programme Implementation, Municipal Administration, Urban and Water Supply, Women and Youth Welfare, Welfare of Children, Aged and Differently Abled Persons, along with services related to the IAS, IPS, IFS and District Revenue Officers.
