KRISHNAGIRI: A 42-year-old man was found murdered near Berigai here in the early hours of Sunday. The Berigai police are yet to ascertain the motive behind the crime.
A police officer identified the deceased as N Thippaiah, a resident of Kadathur village in Kumbalam panchayat. He was working as a night security guard at a farmhouse. “On Sunday morning, local villagers found him dead in a pool of blood on the premises of the farmhouse and alerted us,” the officer said. Thippaiah was bludgeoned to death with a boulder by some unidentified people. He is survived by his wife Thulasi, 33, two daughters and a son. TNN
