Tamil Nadu: Rate of Covid 3rd wave fall gathering speed

CHENNAI: The epidemic graph of the third wave is seeing a swift fall as fresh and active cases are making a rapid fall across all districts.

On Monday, the state added 19,280 cases and discharged 25,056 patients from the state registry pushing the active cases below the 2 lakh mark to 1.98 lakh. With 20 deaths took the cumulative death toll since March 2020 rose to 37,564.
