Tamil Nadu ranks first in food safety among large states, tops in all parameters

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu has bagged the first rank among large states in the country in the State Food Safety Index 2021-2022.

On Tuesday, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya handed over the award to state food safety commissioner P Senthilkumar, who is also the officer on special duty for the state health department. The award was for the State's overall performance on various parameters of food safety.
