Tamil Nadu: Many hospitalised Covid-19 patients need oxygen or ICU

CHENNAI: Less than 5% of Covid-19 patients require hospitalisation, but among those hospitalised, more than a half require oxygen or intensive care therapy, data from the public health registry shows.

On Monday, the state reported 5,104 new Covid-19 cases when all districts, barring Dindigul and Kallakurichi, reported a drop in new cases.
