Indian-origin Democrat Rep. Suhas Subramanyam directly addressed the viral claims against him doing the rounds on social media that he helped Tamil people who are not even in his district. An anti-H-1 B activist Nick Plumb shared some screenshots that he said he got from a private Tamil community, showing that a man who had a medical emergency earlier this year got fired from his job. Others in the private group suggested that they might seek help from Subramanyam.
