Tallaght firefighters save tiny dog hidden under bed after home fills with smoke

Brave Tallaght firefighters saved a little dog after his house filled with smoke.

The tiny terrier was found hiding under a bed and was quickly rushed out of the building.

Thankfully, the brave pup was completely fine after a quick check-up, and he was happily reunited with his owner.

Dublin Fire Brigade tweeted: "Firefighters from Tallaght Fire Station searched for and rescued this little guy when his home became smoke logged last night.

"Found under a bed and no worse for his experience he was quickly reunited with his human."

People praised the heroic firefighters for saving the pup and hoped that he had recovered from his ordeal.

One person said: "Poor little fella . Thanks for going above and beyond for our furry friends too."

Another wrote: "Thank you for your kindness and animal welfare."

A third said: "Amazing rescue."
