TalkSPORT duo Gabby Agbonlahor and Jamie O'Hara have condemned the 'dangerous' Leeds United fan who confronted Eddie Howe in the dugout. The Newcastle United head coach was shoved in the closing stages of the 2-2 draw at Elland Road by the supporter who was eventually dragged away by matchday staff.
Howe later admitted he felt his personal safety had been 'violated' on the touchline, describing it as a 'what if' moment and an incident which should be reflected upon to improve security on matchdays. Leeds issued a swift response to the ugly incident, confirming the fan had been arrested and handed a lifetime ban as a result.
Agbonlahor and O'Hara discussed the draw at first in their review of Saturday's action, which leaves Sam Allardyce's side a point adrift of safety with two matches remaining in their season. However, the pundits moved on to the confrontation with the former comparing it to Jack Grealish being punched on the pitch by a fan during a derby-day encounter between Aston Villa and Birmingham in March 2019.
