It has been quite an eventful offseason for the Boston Celtics, trading for point guard Malcolm Brogdon and signing veteran forward Danilo Gallinari to kick things off with a splash, only to see Gallinari get hurt soon after. Then, the Gallo news got worse, followed by news big man Robert Williams III would need an operation as well.
Throw in a scandal with head coach Ime Udoka, double the time Timelord is supposed to miss, and you more or less find yourself in the same blender the Celtics have been in for the past few months.
What will it mean for their 2022-23 season ahead? How will they respond? ESPN’s Tim Bontemps took a deep dive into the Celtics’ wild offseason fortunes to try to get some bearings.
