With fixture release day upon us, Leeds United’s return to league action feels closer than ever. The Whites learned this morning that they’ll be opening up their campaign in a televised game against Cardiff City at Elland Road on August 6.
For some, that date can’t come soon enough. That first kick-off should represent the new start Leeds fans are craving after the turmoil that plagued the club throughout the final season in the Premier League.
