Takeaways and observations from Ravens 38-6 win over Lions in Week 7

Lamar Jackson accounted for four total touchdowns, and the Ravens defense held Detroit to 97 yards in a first half that saw the home team score on their first four possessions.

In what can be described as an intense life lesson, the Lions learned that they are improving, but they’re not ready to be listed among the NFL’s elite after an embarrassing 38-6 loss to the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.

With Baltimore now 5-2 on the season and heading to Arizona in Week 8, here are the top photos from the dominant win.

Ravens are best When Gus Edwards leads the charge

Edwards took a checkdown pass from Lamar Jackson, and turned it into an explosive play, rumbling 81 yards into the red zone.

In his best game of the season, Edwards had the 81 yard catch, along with 14 carries, for 64 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Ravens put it away early

AFter leading 28-0, Baltimore came out at the half and went 94 yards in 4 plays, with Lamar Jackson capping the drive with an 8-yard TD pass to Mark Andrews.

The Ravens went up 35-0, essentially ending things in the third quarter, as Fox Sports switched over th the Falcons and Buccaneers.

Ravens sack attack

Jared Goff had been sacked ten times all season entering today; the Ravens sacked the MVP candidate five times in the first three quarters.

A huge under the radar move for the Ravens, Van Noy logged 5 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 tackles for loss and 2 QB hits on the day.

Zay Flowers

The rookie made history on Sunday, logging 4 catches for 75 yards.

Odell Beckham

Beckham had his best game as a Raven, logging 5 catches for 49 yards on 7 targets.

Arthur Maulet

The slot cornerback led the Ravens in tackles with 8 tackles, 1 sack, 1 tackle for loss and 1 QB hit in an impressive performance.
