Brad Pitt and George Clooney in Wolfs.

George Clooney and Brad Pitt are co-stars once again in the 2024 new movie Wolfs. Let's take a closer look at how Clooney and Pitt fared with each topci:

Biggest box-office hit

George Clooney has the edge here, as his 2013 movie Gravity, the sci-fi disaster movie that he starred in alongside Sandra Bullock, grossed $773 million worldwide throughout its run. Pitt's no slouch though, as his biggest movie is World War Z, which made more than $540 million at the global box office.

Highest rated movie on Rotten Tomatoes

Gravity is once again the best of the bunch for Clooney, as it scored an impressive 96% "Fresh" on the review aggregator site. Pitt just missed out on this category, as 12 Years a Slave is just one percentage point behind Gravity at 95%. Though Pitt may have had the last laugh, as 12 Years a Slave beat Gravity for Best Picture for 2013. Speaking off...

Most Oscar nominations

Again by the slimmest of margins, Clooney edges Pitt here by just one nomination. Throughout his career, Clooney has eight nominations (Best Original Screenplay, Good Night, and Good Luck; Best Director, Good Night, and Good Luck; Best Supporting Actor, Syriana; Best Actor, Michael Clayton; Best Actor, Up in the Air; Best Adapted Screenplay, The Ides of March; Best Actor, The Descendants; Best Picture, Argo), while Pitt has seven (Best Supporting Actor, 12 Monkeys; Best Actor, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button; Best Actor, Moneyball; Best Picture, Moneyball; Best Picture, 12 Years a Slave; Best Picture, The Big Short; Best Supporting Actor, Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood). The both have two wins, one for Best Picture (Argo, 12 Years a Slave) and one for Best Supporting Actor (Syriana, Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood).

Which actor has a movie on the Sight & Sounds' best movies of all time list?

Brad Pitt is the only one between the two to make the esteemed list from critics, programmers, curators, archivists and academics, with 2011's The Tree of Life making the cut.
