Take the tour of Ashurst - Magnificent Killiney mansion once occupied by Archbishop John Charles McQuaid on sale for €12m

Ashurst is one of the most exclusive homes on sale in Ireland right now.

McQuaid, who was good friends with former Taoiseach and President Eamon de Valera, is one of a number of illustrious former owners. It was originally built for Sir Compton Domville, a Member of Parliament but it fell into disrepair after the death of subsequent owner John Charles McQuaid.
