Take That fans have been going wild as they witnessed an unexpected reunion between Robbie Williams and Mark Owen. It's been nearly 28 years since Let Me Entertain You singer Robbie broke many hearts when he left the Manchester-formed boyband in 1995.
He has, however, since reunited with the band for different projects but fans of the group are more used to seeing Take That as a trio with Mark, Howard Donald and Gary Barlow these days. So imagine their surprise when they saw Mark and Robbie casually hanging out together.
The pair were filmed by Robbie's wife Ayda Field as they tucked into pizza while randomly sitting in children's high chairs. Mark, 50, and Robbie, 48, joked that they were the babies of the band as they sat in the seats belonging to Robbie's daughter Coco, four, and son Beau, two.
Filming them for a video she posted to Instagram on Sunday (January 15), Ayda could be heard saying: "I enjoy both of you guys in the baby chairs. I think its a good look," as hubby Robbie replied: "There was nowhere else for us of sit. And also we're the babies of the band."
Captioning the video, she wrote: "The Babies Of The Band [heart emoji] @markowenofficial @robbiewilliams @takethat." And fans wasted no time in commenting.
@dopeyf1fan said: "Aww..Rob and Mark together has made my day love them in the baby chairs." @suzanne_l84 commented: "Why has this made me want cry? Love seeing the boys together!! Thank you Ayda." @julia_wonderw77 wrote: "This is sooooo special. My heart just burst." @ttsince1990 typed: "This little clip has made my year. Oh my goodness. Tomorrow is blue Monday, not anymore. Thank you Ayda. Heart = FULL."
@clarebear8320 replied: "Omg this is the best video I've seen, their friendship in the band was one of the things I loved so much. Thanks for sharing ayda." @masonsgreatauntyyaya shared: "This fills my heart. I love seeing my boys together.." @louiseupton3 posted: "My heart just skipped a beat. The naughty mischievous babies." @maushinka added: "Omg!!!!!! Rob and Mark together...it has made my day."
Their reunion comes after Mark recently said he 'would love' Robbie to rejoin Take That, who formed in 1989 and went on to achieve 12 number one singles on the UK Singles Chart along with eight number one albums and still remain the most successful boy band in UK chart history.
Mark told The Sun when asked about Robbie rejoining the band: "I would love for it to happen in the future... he might — if he knows we are in the studio — come down and get involved somewhere, maybe in the writing, because that’s just how it happens."
