Take That fans will have a rare chance to see the pop group perform this month, when they hit the stage for a one-off show to raise money for charity.
Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen will be performing in collaboration with the War Child charity, which sends aid to children living in war and conflict. “War Child believes in bringing together the most dedicated and creative minds to have the greatest impact for children living in conflict,” their website reads.
The announcement was made by War Child on Twitter. Take That responded saying that they were “so honoured” to support an “incredible charity”.
When and where is the show?
The group will be performing an intimate show at KOKO in London, Camden, on Wednesday, June 21.
The venue is known for its club nights and live shows. You can expect to hear songs from their iconic three-decade music career.
The group have been busy this year. So far, they’ve headlined the King’s Coronation Concert in May and released a revamped version of “Greatest Day” with GRAMMY award-winning DJ and music producer Robin Schulz, featuring Calum Scott. They are also due to headline at British Summer Time in Hyde Park on July 1. The band are also working on new music, which you can expect later this year.
Take That have had 28 top-40 singles and 17 top-5 singles over the years, and 12 of the legendary hits have reached number one, from “Greatest Day” to “Back for Good”, and “Never Forget”. When Robbie Williams left the band in 1995 in the middle of their Nobody Else world tour, it sparked media attention, and many upset fans questioned if Take That’s days would be soon over. But both Robbie Williams and the group went on to have successful careers, continuing to produce hit after hit.

When else are Take That performing?
As mentioned earlier, the group are giving fans another chance to catch them next month at British Summer Time in Hyde Park.
Though Take That aren’t currently on tour, you can still get your Take That fix through the Take That-based musical, Greatest Days. It is in theatres across the UK, until November 25 of this year. You can access tickets via ATG Tickets and the official Greatest Days site.
