CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Looking for a bite to eat at Charlotte Douglas International Airport — or even a shower? A new airport lounge opened its doors in March at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).
The Club CLT, a lounge located in Concourse A, is now open daily from 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and seats 105 people. The Club CLT is operated by global lounge company Airport Dimensions.
Food and drink are complimentary with entry. And anyone can access the lounge with a $45 day pass. The Club CLT is also available to Priority Pass members, a lounge access membership that starts at $99 a year.
Customers in the lounge are limited to a three-hour maximum stay.
The lounge serves food that customers can order directly to their table through QR codes. The menu includes N.C.-inspired fare, including corn bread, fried green tomato sliders and open faced pulled pork sliders.
Customers can also get quick snacks, like cheese cubes, veggies, trail mix or avocado hummus.
Charlotte passenger numbers took a deep dive in early 2020 as the coronavirus pandemic hit, but CLT is well on its way to recovery. Last year, the airport saw 43 million travelers, up from the 27 million people who traveled through the airport in 2020.
The Club lounge brand also has locations at airports in Atlanta, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and 10 other US cities. The only other Carolinas location is in Charleston.
