Taco Bell confirmed on July 15, 2026, that it had voluntarily and temporarily removed select fresh ingredients from some of its U.S. restaurant locations as a precautionary measure — the most significant commercial response yet to a Cyclospora outbreak that has now sickened nearly 7,000 people across 34 states.
