Tacko Fall didn’t have many highlights in his brief NBA career, but he had one of the most unbelievable plays of the basketball season during a game in China last week.
At 7'6", Fall is the third-tallest player in NBA history. After going undrafted out of UCF in 2019, he played 37 games over the course of three seasons with the Celtics and Cavaliers before going to China last season.
Fall is back in China this season, playing for the Nanjing Tongxi Monkey Kings. During a game on Friday against the Shanghai Dongfang Sharks, he threw down one of the most vicious dunks you’ll ever see.

The guy getting posterized there Li Tian Rong, who’s either 6'2" or 6'4", depending on the source. Either way, he’s more than a foot shorter than Fall and about 100 pounds lighter. He never stood a chance of stopping him. Li’s hand barely reached the rim as he jumped to try to defend Fall.
Give Li credit for trying, though. Usually getting put on a poster like that is a humiliating experience for a player. In Li’s case, his teammates should give him credit for not giving up on the play in the face of a guy who towers over him.
