New Delhi: India pacer Arshdeep Singh has broken into the top 10 of the ICC T20 rankings for the first time in his career following his impressive bowling performance against Bangaldesh in the first T20I.
The left arm pacer jumped eight spots to reach the eighth position with 642 rating. Currently, he is the only Indian bowler in the top 10 in the shorter format of the game.
According to the rankings issued on Wednesday, England's spinner Adil Rashid continues to be the number one bowler in the shortest format, followed by Akeal Hossain of the West Indies and Afghanistan's Rashid Khan who are at the second and third spots respectively.
Ravi Bishnoi slips to 12
Spinner Ravi Bishnoi, who did not play Gwalior T20I, slipped a place to No. 12.
Pandya in all-rounders ranking
Meanwhile, all-rounder Hardik Pandya jumped four spots to return to the top three in the ICC T20I rankings for men's all-rounders. England's Liam Livingstone continues to hold top position in all-rounder rankings with 253 rating points.
Left-handed Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is not a part of the India squad for the ongoing T20 home series against Bangladesh, slipped one position to fifth.
