T.J. Watt admits to using his cell phone at halftime of Week 18 game, which is an NFL no-no

I’m not tattling on T.J. Watt or anything here.

It’s just worth noting that as he was chasing the NFL single-season sack record, he entered the locker room at halftime in the Week 18 game against the Baltimore Ravens unsure if he had gotten one when he tackled Tyler Huntley after a bad snap.

So what did he do? As he told Dan Patrick earlier this week, he checked his phone in the locker room and a group chat that included his brother J.J. and found out he wasn’t awarded one.

Unfortunately, that’s a violation of NFL rules, although there’s been no word from the league about any discipline.
