Sylvester Stallone's brand-new reality TV show The Family Stallone "won't hit the charts like The Kardashians" as they are "not weird enough", claims a PR expert.
It was announced today that the Rocky actor, 76, will star in the new programme alongside wife Jennifer Flavin and their three daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet.
Offering a "seat at the table of one of Hollywood’s most famous families", the upcoming show is set to air on Paramount+ this spring.
It is thought to follow a Kardashian-style format, but experts are already saying it'll have nothing on Kris Jenner's empire over claims the Stallones "don't push the limits".
New York-based celebrity PR expert Ryan McCormick exclusively tells The Mirror of his doubts that Sylvester's show will 'knock The Kardashians of its perch'.
"I would not be surprised if The Family Stallone is the breakout reality show of the year," he explained following its side-splitting announcement.
An advertisement for the programme showed Sly climbing a mountain before he slipped, falling into a giant pile of snow below.
Ryan told The Mirror: "There is so much depth to Sylvester Stallone's personality, interests, mannerisms, and family dynamic that I think it'll be hard for people not to watch the show.
"Will The Family Stallone knock The Kardashians off their perch? Time will only tell however, I don't foresee that happening."
The co-founder of Goldman McCormick PR tells us that Stallone's "authenticity alone will likely be perceived as a refreshing breath of fresh air".
"This venture into reality TV could not only be good for his image but, also help to boost the visibility and careers of his daughters," Ryan concluded.
Weighing in on the show's announcement, PR expert Baruch Labunski also tells The Mirror that Sly and his family "has a couple of advantages over the Kardashians".
He explained: "His show could get a ratings boost from the fact that the Stallone family is the opposite of the Kardashians.
"However, his show won't hit the charts like the Kardashians because his family just isn't weird enough and doesn't push the limits.
"Viewers find it weird entertaining and the Stallone show won't have that strangeness."
The Family Stallone will follow the famous family's turbulent life across eight episodes in the upcoming programme on Paramount+.
"Sylvester Stallone is ready to give cameras access to what he would consider the greatest role of his lifetime: dad," a press release from the telly network reads.
It adds: "This new series starring Stallone’s three daughters, wife and himself offers a seat at the table of one of Hollywood’s most famous families."
